Welcome, Henrik Bo Larsen, Strengthening Business Development in the Nordics
We’re excited to welcome Henrik Bo Larsen to OptikosPrime as we expand our commercial efforts across the Nordic region.
Henrik joins our business development team, bringing more than two decades of experience from across the optical industry. With a strong foundation in both clinical and commercial sides of optometry, Henrik has worked with some of the most recognised companies in the field, including CooperVision, Alcon, Johnson & Johnson, Bausch + Lomb, Menicon, and Specsavers. Throughout his career, he has held senior roles in sales, professional affairs, clinical training, and strategic development, consistently demonstrating a passion for enhancing the delivery of vision care.

What do you do to unwind?
I read books, do physical training and meditate.
Where do you live, and what's a must-do activity in your hometown?
I live in a suburb of Aalborg, Denmark, where one of the must-do activities is visiting our long stretches of white sandy beaches. Just be prepared, the water is often colder than you might expect.
Why did you decide to join OptikosPrime?

Strengthening the Nordic focus
We’re on a journey to reshape how people access vision care. Our flagship product, VisionCheck, is a mobile-based screening tool that lets anyone check if they are likely nearsighted or farsighted using just their phone. There’s no need for external hardware or calibration.
For users, it means a simple and intuitive way to understand if they might need glasses – and instantly book an eye exam with a local optician. For optical retailers and eye care providers, VisionCheck is a new way to attract customers, increase footfall, and extend their reach beyond the store, into people’s pockets.
This technology has an impact at both ends of the spectrum: in underserved areas with limited access to optometry, VisionCheck opens the door to basic screening where no infrastructure exists. In developed markets, it serves as a customer acquisition engine, bringing digital convenience to traditional eye care.
With Henrik on board, we’re now doubling down on our presence in the Nordics. His experience and network will play a crucial role as we establish new partnerships and expand VisionCheck to more providers and users across the region.
